The People’s Education Society was established in 1933 by the founding trustees led by Dr. D. N. Kale, with the mission of educating children of mill workers in Lower Parel.
Over the years, the Society expanded to support children across Dadar, Prabhadevi, and Worli, focusing on uplifting economically weaker sections.
The Society runs two SSC Board Schools and a Junior College.
A notable contributor, Late Adv. Balasaheb Apte, an eminent lawyer and parliamentarian, played a vital role in strengthening and mentoring the institution, including the establishment of the Adv. Balasaheb Apte College of Law.
At PES School, learning is not limited to memorising answers.

Our Pre-Primary section includes Nursery, Junior KG, and Senior KG, designed for children between 1.8 to 6 years, focusing on early development and joyful learning.
